Patience eerie.
Rashford is a kid still. Can see Samuels thinking.
Few games in the youths will be beneficial to his progress imo.

If he's good enough he should be playing. Michael Owen was 18 when he scored that wondergoal vs the Argies at World Cup 98.

Sorry Norm, what did tonight prove?
The only thing it proved to me is England's best striker on current form was playing in a meaningless kids game.
Kane shouldn't beclose to starting at the moment, England were fucking horrific the other night and we need new blood.

Fair play to Samuel. Called this one right regarding Rashford. I rate him highly..but he wouldn't have started ahead of the yid against Slovakia
Getting some valuable experience in the U21s will do him good for a while.
Tonight proved it

I think Rashford is going to be a better player than Kane. Good movement and has that knack of getting in the right positions that you cant teach. Mourinho will probably ration Ibrahimovich so with the Europa League he may get enough games in the season to show his worth. If Man U want to shoe horn Rooney in to midfield or left sided attacker that's up to them .... but England should have called time on him after Iceland.
I feel a bit sorry for Vardy as Sam wont build a team to suit him like Leicester do ..... it will be Kane or Rashford up top and in most games it should be ONE of Dier and Henderson with Alli and Barkley (or Wilshere if he is ever fit) ahead of him. Rooney is yesterdays man.

Cheers Sven.
I don't mind Rooney so long as he's played as a striker, as he ain't no Lothar Mathius.
And even though he's a yid, I do want Kane to succeed for England, as he obviously knows where the goal is. Just has to adapt to international football and do it quicker, as the defenders all seem to be finding it easy to mark him out of a game.
Again the service doesn't help him which is where Antonio comes in ;o)

The first player I would remove is Wayne Rooney he is very average and has not had a positive England performance against a worthy team in over 5 years, sure for qualifiers he will get goals but what has he done at any tournament, NADA.
He looks miserable as if he is thrown in amongst a bunch of dumb monkeys who do not understand him.

Not just guaranteed a start Grumps but to be in the squad full stop
Henderson, Kane, Hart, Walcott should all be dropped. They had their chance....didnt take it and now there are other players in better forms for their clubs that should get the chance to stake a claim

When's the next England game/friendly, as I'm gagging to take a peek of Antonio getting a game?
Needs a bit of freshness and to let most of them know that they're not guaranteed a start.
Unfortunately they are.

The international break is a poor excuse as to why we don't succeed
Bale apart the Wales squad didnt yet they turned up in the summer. Most of the Spain squad that dominated world football for years im surr played more games in a season then our boys

As regards the winter break the only thing I would say is that the Xmas program is often overdone by trying to fit in one too many games .... often teams play on Boxing Day, 28th or 29th & then New Years Day. I would fit in a break by playing on Boxing Day and New Years Day and starting the season again on the second Saturday in January as a big FA Cup 3rd Round RELAUNCH.
In the meantime I would end all international friendlies and conduct all preseason activity in the UK and Europe.

It's like the extended version of Mike Bassett.
Could just imagine Ricky Tomlinson saying he couldn't tell his 'star' player where to play.

This will just be one big boys club under Allardyce...already a few comments by the players like' it's very relaxed' 'we've had a laugh' Allardyce with his cringy 'wise cracks' in press conferences, and don't forget the new quiz night. Proper Harry Bassett carry on, he will milk to this to the full for the next 2 years, cunt can't believe his luck.

Yeah, two weeks off in December will make a MASSIVE difference to a tournament played in July.
In fact, if we do it, I think we'll win everything for the rest of eternity.

Respect to the likes of Cantona, who retired at the top of his game. Respect to Scholes, who reitred from international football at the top of his game.
Then we come to Wayne Rooney, who is sadly past it, but still clinging to nothing more substancial than smoke. He's never been good enough in midfield to be an international midfielder, and I'm not convinced he's in the top bracket of attackers these days, bar the odd moment of brilliance, which for me is not enough to take a place in the England squad.
If he's in just so he can break the caps record, they can all fuck off.

Yeah I'd say Rooney playing midfield was a major factor 2 managers recently lost their jobs for playing very boring, slow paced, lacking in goals, football.
